1. John Parrott was born in 1822 in Tennessee and died on 6 Mar 1911 in DeWitt Co., Illinois at age 89.
General Notes: Would Compell Support. An action peculiar and unusual will be up for hearing before Judge Hill in the county court on Feb. 14. State's Attorney Browne has filed a petition on behalf of John Parrott asking that Parrott's son William and Lydia Litzennberger, John E. Jones, E.S. Jones, Mamie McCumber and Bell Mansfield be compelled to support Mr. Parrott. J.A. Clark makes affidavit that Mr. Parrot has been living on his charity and that the children should be compelled to support their father as they have ample means. The case was to come up today but as the original petition only asked for relief against the son William Parrot an amendment was allowed taking in the other children and the case was continued.
